Let's Work! - (out!)
While Prince might have lyrically stated those two words back in 1982, their meaning and power ring oh-so-true now in 2020.
That's right: it's time to get up and start moving.
We're more than a few weeks into quarantine, so routines for staying healthy and motivated should already be in place.
But if you're like me and have trouble moving anywhere besides the desk, the couch, and the bed, then it might be a sign to ditch the pajamas and gear up for the "gym".

Warming Up
With the US Department of Health setting exercise guidelines for adults, it's important to hit some weekly marks that will keep your body and mind healthy.
That includes at least 150 minutes (2 hours, 30 minutes) a week of moderate-intensity and 75 minutes (1 hour, 15 minutes) a week of vigorous-intensity, aerobic exercises.
For a warm up, walking outside is the easiest and best thing to start off with.
Stepping outside after spending the day indoors will only increase your mental well-being and get you primed for a solid workout.
Turn that slow-paced walk into a moderate jog and get your heart rate going. Jumping jacks, jumping rope, and video-based workouts are all options if you're not too keen on running.
In addition to YouTube, workout apps have become huge this year and some can even be found for free. Check out this list of the best workout apps to download today.
*I pushed myself to try a cardio kick-boxing class via my laptop, and let me tell you, it kicked my butt. I'm still sore in places that I never knew could get sore.*
Gifts for Those Who Sweat
Once the heart rates are going, it's time to get to business.
These workouts will utilize your strength and can all be done indoors.
Push-ups and squats are the perfect workouts for working multiple muscle groups at the same time.
Crunches will keep your core sore for days.
For those that have dumbbells lying around, start pumping that iron.
And for the bold: the burpee will have you huffing and puffing and yelling profanities so loud that your neighbors might start to get worried.
The power of promotional fitness gear can make those who are missing the gym that much more comfortable at home. Personalized fitness towels, support belts, and custom socks can give that much-needed motivational boost to get up and get moving.
It's small, thoughtful gifts that can make all the difference in making a positive impact for those at home.
Namaste, All Day
Once you've drenched your promotional t-shirts in sweat, it's time to wind down with a good stretch session.
Stretching is the most important part of the workout, so it's crucial to find time for it.
For those who want to go even further, try taking up Yoga.
Seen as more than just an exercise routine, Yoga is a way of life that has numerous health benefits. It's a method to relax the body, mind, and soul.
All you need is a sturdy mat to get you started.
