Modern Day Superheroes

The term frontline worker was brought to our attention a little over a year ago. For some of us, we might've been hearing the phrase for the first time, unbeknownst of what was to come over the course of 2020.

But it was those frontline workers who kept things moving across the globe. Those who work in production facilities, agriculture, grocery stores, and everyone involved in healthcare geared up and provided essential services to our communities.

While these workers should be celebrated whenever possible, sometimes it takes a week of acknowledgement to bring the attention to the masses.

Nurses Week 2021 will take place from May 6 - May 12, highlighting a week of honor for the hardworking women and men who care for the population day in and day out.

But what makes this year so different?

Last year, Nurses Week took place at the early stages of the pandemic, when businesses were scrambling to figure out what was going on and whether or not it would be appropriate to be pushing promotional products at that time. With all eyes on glued on the news, gifts were an afterthought for many buyers as PPE began to take over the product landscape.

This is the significant time when celebratory weeks like Nurses Week will have a much stronger meaning than ever before. After a long and tiring year, thoughtful gifts can make that much more of an impact to those who are receiving them.

Sometimes being vocal on social media might have good intentions, but it can be forgotten about after a few days. Having tangible gifts to supplement a week full of support is the perfect way to bring attention to not only nurses, but to any cause near to our hearts.

Whether you're looking to gift a cozy hoodie, an awesome thermal mug, or the plushest blanket you can find, make sure the product you pitch will have that special something that will warm the hearts of the recipients.

2021 is going to be a crucial bounce-back year for all sectors, including promotional products. As we look forward to some sense of normalcy, let's first take care of those who care for us.
